Nisha JamVwal
Trained as an architect, Nisha is a luxury consultant and contemporary Indian art curator, as well as a renowned columnist.
She is also known for her philanthropic work in education and indigenous crafts.
Nisha and her husband, the Rajput Prince, Kanwar Rameshwar Singh Jamwal - better known as ‘Jammie’ in the circles they move in - reputedly fell in love in a traffic jam while waiting for the lights to turn green. They were soon married, but on their honeymoon ‘Jammie’ suffered an accident whilst diving into a swimming pool. As a result of her brush with destiny, Nisha spends a large chunk of her life helping social causes.
Now a senior director with the Tata Group, Kanwar and Nisha enjoy a high profile life in South Mumbai, and Nisha paints and collects art and artefacts alongside her regular employment as an author and luxury brand consultant.
