Novelist, the 17 year old Lewisham (south London) resident grew up immersed in the grime scene, and built a following through appearances on underground radio stations such as Flex and NTS, and Rinse FM. He's been dubbed a teenage prodigy, and has been widely praised for his skilful delivery and ear for musical innovations. Novelist was recently signed to XL Recordings – home to Adele, M.I.A, Jamie xx and SBTRKT.
