Big-hearted Paul is awkward but lovable. Happy to be in an awesome new house with his friends, he puts on a brave face and doesn鈥檛 seem scared by its spooky atmosphere. When weird noises frighten the others, he's the first one they call on, with harry urging, "Paul, go and have a look! You're physically the biggest!" And cheeky Shireen chipping in, "And the most expendable"!

Paul instantly takes a shining to Bill, trying to attract her attention with plans for a party and helping her to move in her things. "Bill if you get scared in the night, you know where I am yeah?" He's sweet, but Bill is, of course, not interested.
