Janet Gleeson
Janet was born in Sri Lanka (then called Ceylon) and spent her early childhood on a remote tea plantation.
She studied History of Art and English at Nottingham University and her first job was as a junior secretary in the Impressionist Department at Sotheby's. Janet later became head of Old Master Paintings at Bonhams.
Janet is now a well-known journalist and author and joined Antiques Roadshow in 2005 as a member of the reception team.
