Anna Victorova was born in Moscow, and studied at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory, Moscow, where she is currently engaged in a postgraduate degree course. Her principal teachers are Nina Postavnicheva and Peyr Susnochenko.

She has won numerous scholarships and prizes, including first prize at the Glinka competition in 2003, second prize at the Sobinov competition, and first prize at the Zandonai competition, Italy.

She has been singing professionally since 1998, and roles include Orfeo (Orfeo ed Euridice), Spring (The Snow Maiden), Lubasha (The Tsar's Bride), Sosedka (Marfa), Polina (The Queen of Spades), Olga (Eugene Onegin) and Ratmir (Ruslan and Lyudmila).

Since 2004 she has been a soloist at the Moscow Academy musical theatre and in February 2007 she performed The Tsar's Bride at the Tchaikovsky Hall, Moscow. In July 2007 she appeared at the Insel Mainau Festival, Germany.

In her spare time she enjoys reading, musical evenings, and conversation with friends.
