Alma Reville Hitchcock

Alma Reville was an assistant director and editor. She met her husband when working on his film The Lodger in 1926.
She continued to collaborate with Hitchcock throughout his career and had an extremely keen eye for continuity flaws. Famously she noticed Janet Leigh swallowing in Psycho (1960) when her character was supposed to be dead.
She remained married to Hitchcock until his death in 1980 and died two years later in Los Angeles.
