Bubbly Jazz teacher Kirsty, lives with her boyfriend in Banstead, Surrey.

Partially deaf, Kirsty began dancing aged 7 and attended the Brits School aged 14-16, where she studied Contemporary and Jazz. She then trained at Laine Theatre Arts.
Kirsty was diagnosed as deaf aged 12 but says it has never held her back as a dancer. She is able to dance by feeling the vibrations and listening to the beat. Kirsty has recently been given new hearing aids to help her on the show.
She has performed in the pantomime Goldilocks and the Three Bears, travelled the world performing on a cruise ship and worked as a backing dancer on films Miss Henderson Presents and Mamma Mia - a career highlight.
Kirsty spent two years teaching full time at the Royal Academy of Dance and now teaches at various Stagecoach schools.
Kirsty aspires to be like 50's siren Marilyn Monroe. She secretly relates to the "dumb blonde but secretly intelligent persona" and tries to emulate Monroe's "glamorous image".
The 29 year old entered the competition because she still feels that there is something inside her left to give, she says "if I'm not dancing, there is something missing in my life."

Round 1: Kirsty did a Contemporary dance with Lee B.
Round 2: Kirsty did a Bollywood routine with Lee B.
Round 3: Kirsty did a Lyrical Hip Hop routine with Lee B.
Round 4: Kirsty did an Argentine Tango with Lee B.
Round 5: Kirsty did a Broadway routine and a Hip Hop routine with Lee B.
All remaining dancers now have new partners.
Round 6: Kirsty did a Lyrical Rumba with Matt.
All partnerships changed this week again. Each dancer took part in five routines: two group dances, either a Boys' Group dance (Paso Doble), or a Girls' Group Dance (Jazz), a solo and a couple's dance.
Round 7: Kirsty did a Broadway routine with Luke.
Kirsty is one of the four finalists of So You Think You Can Dance: Series 2!
The Final: Kirsty did a Broadway routine with Katie.
Kirsty did an American Smooth Foxtrot with Matt.
Kirsty did a Contemporary routine with Luke.
Kirsty finished in 3rd place!
