San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner speaking to NFL Network: "It is never going to be easy, we knew we made some mistakes. But I told the defence it was going to be on us, the offence was doing a fantastic job all the way through. we needed to make a big play and we got the first take away.

"It was complimentary football at its best in the second half, Brock Purdy taking care of the football is huge for us.

"He is the reason we have a chance at the whole thing the poise, the confidence, the performances week in and week out and have been amazing.

"As a rookie you can't talk enough about the way he has come in and played I have never seen it in my whole life. I don't think anyone has done this coming in so late in the season we have to take it one game at a time and play team football."

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy: “Just taking it one day at a time, we’ve got a goal, to win the whole thing, but it’s tournament play and anything can happen.

“I’ve got such a great team, it’s not a one-man show and I’m very blessed to take them from here.

“We came out with some momentum, but the Seahawks did a great job of striking back. It’s play-off football and everybody’s got to play their best from here on out.

“When we’re playing our best football we’re a hard team to beat, we know that but we’ve just got to keep our heads down and take it one play at a time."

He evades multiple tacklers and runs sideline to sideline before firing a rocket at Ayiuk. He has been so sure handed today but he drops the catch in the back corner of the endzone.

That could be the play that puts this game to bed for the 49ers and it is none other than Deebo Samuel with the catch and run.

Samuel is wide open 10-yards down field and he takes off down the sideline with no defenders near him initially. That is because teammate Brandon Ayiuk picks up a fantastic block about 15 yards down field and Samuel is able to tiptoe down the sideline for the 74 yard score.

Robbie Gould is once again good on the PAT and the Seahawks have a mountain to climb.
