West Indies skipper Shai Hope on TNT Sports: "As you can see we didn't start so well with the bat, and put ourselves under pressure there. But we me must also take the positives from the game. You could see Sherfane Rutherford played a really good innings to get us out of a hole.

"We also didn't finish as well as we could have. We didn't played the situation smart enough and that's what caused our downfall. He has been doing it for some time now. Espeically in the regional stuff. He has matured a lot as a batter. We know he can strike the ball but the way he's playing now is pleasing for us.

"He can offer something with the ball as well. It's not something we are expecting him to do in this particular team. But we can turn to him and he can pick up wickets. It was challenging for the spinner, with the dew to grip the ball. It was tough going for them. We have to be ready for the next game now."

Player of the match Sam Curran: "Really pleased. It was a tough day the other day but you've got to bounce back and that's the great thing about this series. We can keep bouncing back, we lost that game and bounced back today."

Bowling in the powerplay: "Obviously at this ground there is quite a big breeze and I didn't find the ball was swinging much so I just tried to change the angle and luckily a few edges. Mostly really pleased with the win and I thought the guys finished off really well with the bat."

Mindset when recovering from defeat: "I think we did so many things right in that first game and the message from the coach and captain was just that we had to come back today and try and put things right which we did. I thought we bowled really well and the way we batted on a tricky surface was a great win."

England captain Jos Buttler on TNT Sports: "I've been searching a bit for some form, it's something that I've been searching for a little bit so to be not out and get the team over the line is pleasing.

On reaching 5000 ODI runs: "Yeah, really pleasing. I've been playing for a while now so to it's always nice to get to those milestones and be consistent over a long period of time. I have had moments where it has been frustrating. I was getting fed up with it so it was time to put in a performance and get back to the player that I know I am."

On Sam Curran's return to form: "He's a brilliant character. He had a tough day the other day but he's always up for the challenge and never shies away from it. He led from the front for us today which is just what we needed."

Heading into the last game at 1-1: "Yeah, excited. It's great to be in those situations, those must-win games. We can't wait to be in Barbados for the decider."

Buttler passing the milestone of 5000 runs crowned a night where we saw a bit more of the vintage Buttler.

England fans will all cheer that. Composure and skill were needed despite the modest target set.

All-round good response from England, set up by the bowlers including Sam Curran, with sterner tests to come of course before judging a reboot.

Still a night to enjoy for England in a beleaguered couple of months.

Sam Curran is named player of the match for his 3-33.

What a turnaround for the all-rounder after he conceded 0-98 on Sunday, the most expensive England ODI figures of all-time.

Both Brandon King and Keacy Carty were caught at slip by Zak Crawley, while Shimron Hetmyer was pinned lbw.

Phil Salt and Will Jacks again helped England start well in the powerplay, adding a fifty partnership inside the first six overs.

Jacks went on to make an eye-catching 73, but there were disappointments for Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett who fell for three runs each.

But captain Jos Buttler steadied things with Harry Brook after Jacks' departure, looking like he is on the way back to his destructive best with an unbeaten 58 - something that will be welcome news for England but ominous for West Indies.

Sam Curran and Gus Atkinson set the tone for England in the powerplay, reducing West Indies to 24-4 before a vital stand of 129 between Shai Hope and Sherfane Rutherford.

But that was the only resistance that West Indies provided throughout the day, as they were bundled out for 202 after that partnership was broken by Liam Livingstone, who finished with three wickets and Rehan Ahmed two.

A confidence-boosting performance from Jos Buttler's bowlers, who struggled in the face of Hope and Romario Shepherd's aggression in the opening encounter.

Harry Brook sweeps for four and wraps up an England victory!

The series is level at 1-1.

Brook finishes unbeaten on 43 and Buttler a much-needed 58. A comprehensive performance in the end, and an impressive fightback after the defeat in the opener on Sunday.

My word, what a way to go to fifty! Jos Buttler slams a fuller delivery from Oshane Thomas straight back down the ground for six and gives a slight raise of the bat in acknowledgement.

England are nearly there.

Harry Brook nails a drive straight back to Shepherd in his follow-through and it clatters into his foot or his shin. He shakes it off remarkably casually, considering how hard that was struck.

One that makes you wince just watching the replay.

Ready to get this done quickly now. Harry Brook guides the first ball of Romario Shepherd's over to the boundary.

Buttler ends Rutherford's over with four more, beating a brave sprawling dive from Keacy Carty on the leg-side boundary.

England are cruising now.

Jos Buttler scampers a single to bring up his 5000th ODI run, and takes him to fifth in terms of England's all-time run-scorers in the format.

A little something for him to celebrate amid a difficult few months. An unbeaten knock here would do wonders for him.

Shai Hope continues to chop and change his bowlers. Sherfane Rutherford, who got the big wicket of Will Jacks, is back.

A tidy but ultimately ineffective over as Brook and Buttler tick off five singles, bringing up their 50 partnership in the process.

A productive over from England, as they take 14 from it.

An unlucky spell for Yannic Cariah. He's actually bowled really well but that last over has totally ruined his figures.
