Image source, Getty ImagesOn the No Balls podcast this week, Kate Cross mentioned how difficult it had been training with the humidity in Mumbai. As well as the physical effects, the dampness makes the ball soft, hands sweaty, and therefore favours the batters.
So this stage of the game, with India well-placed and England's bowlers getting into second or third spells, is going to be a big challenge.
Yastika Bhatia has timed the ball very well in this innings and provides another example here.
The ball is angled across her by Kate Cross and Yastika effortlessly punches it through the off side for her fifth boundary of the day.
A no-ball extends Cross' over but the extra delivery is pushed to mid-wicket for no run.

It's a length delivery that skids on and nearly catches Yastika Bhatia out as she plays back.
The left-hander gets the bat down just in time and quickly puts it behind her as she sweeps the next ball behind square for four.

The ball balloons off the top-edge and it looks to be a very simple catch for Bell but she takes her eye off the ball as she runs in to take it and the ball pops out.

That came out of nowhere.
More signs that Harmanpreet Kaur is starting to feel comfortable at the crease as she skips down and lofts Charlie Dean over wide long on.
A couple of bounces and the ball is over the rope for four.
Ffion mentioned it earlier but you do feel that Harmanpreet is the key to which side has the upper hand at the end of this India innings.
