With all the League Two action done and dusted, now it is time for League One to reach its climax.

The title is yet to be decided, one play-off spot is still up for grabs and six teams are battling to avoid the three remaining relegation places.

Throw in Portsmouth, Sunderland and Charlton all playing for position in the play-offs, and all but one of this evening's 12 fixtures have something riding on them.

Before the games get under way at 17:30 BST, we'll guide you through what can happen in the next two hours.

Macclesfield's point at home to Cambridge means Notts County's defeat at Swindon wouldn't have mattered anyway.

They drop out of the Football League for the first time in their 157-year history.

The pitch invasion at MK Dons has turned a bit nasty, as police need to get involved to separate sections of opposing supporters from one another.

A few objects were thrown after Dons fans came onto the playing surface following the win that gave them promotion and consigned the Stags to the play-offs.

Here's how the top of League Two finished up.

Colchester looked as though they would claim the final play-off place for most of the afternoon when they went 3-0 up at Lincoln, but Jamille Matt's late equaliser for Newport saw them finish the season in seventh.

MK Dons' 1-0 win over Mansfield earns them an immediate return to League One.

MK Dons see out seven minutes of injury time and seal promotion, which sparks a pitch invasion at Stadium MK.

David Wheeler's second-minute header proved enough to win the game.

Colchester did what they needed to do, but missed out on the play-offs as Newport grabbed a late draw at Morecambe.

Champions Lincoln end the season five games without a win.

Mansfield continue to lump the ball forward, but MK Dons have all the answers...

Exeter can't find a winner, which means they miss out on seventh place and Newport County will be in the play-offs.

Notts County are relegated from the Football League for the first time in their 157-year history. Macclesfield survive.

They've done it!

Macclesfield have pulled off the great escape and have stayed up thanks to Elliott Durrell's second half equaliser against Cambridge!

Jamille Matt's late equaliser should be enough to put Newport County into the play-offs.

That's unless Exeter get a late winner...

Forest Green break away from an Exeter corner but mess up a two-on-one and the Grecians breathe again.

Three minutes left for them to grab a winner.

Into added time at Stadium MK, and the hosts look like they will get over the line and be promoted back to League One.

An equaliser changes everything and will put the Stags up instead.

Still Exeter press in search of that elusive goal.

Dean Moxey whips in a ball across the six yard box, but no Grecians player can get on the end of it.

With Newport drawing, a winner would put Exeter up into seventh.

There will be six (SIX!) minutes of injury time..

Well so far, the answer is no, and it seems likely that their stay in the English Football League is to come to an end for the first time in their 157-year history.
