"They were well organised. We should have moved the ball faster but a win is a win. They were tough.

"Difficult to keep possession. We adapted well to the pitch. It was important for everyone we went to the next round.

"No secret we are working on a player to join us."

Chorley boss Jamie Vermiglio talking to BT Sport: "We just said we are disappointed. That says a lot. I felt the stats were in favour of us, we were excellent, really disciplined and looked like we were going to score every time we got into the box.

"I thought we were tremendous. We should have scored. They tried their hardest.

"Credit to our lads. These are part time players with full time mentality. I hope it doesn't come to a halt. I don't know the circumstances.

"The lads have said we have a couple of weeks off, I said you haven't. We can only take confidence from this.

"We have enjoyed every moment of it. We have done ourselves proud. The way the players have spoken, they have done themselves proud. An amazing moment for all of us."

• Wolves have reached the FA Cup fifth round in three of the last five seasons, as many as in the 21 seasons prior to this.
• Premier League teams have progressed from 45 of their 47 FA Cup ties against non-league teams (96%), with only Norwich v Luton in 2013 and Burnley v Lincoln in 2017 failing to progress.
• Separated by 120 years and 362 days, Chorley have lost both of their FA Cup games against top-flight opponents, losing against Notts County in January 1900 and Wolves tonight.

Chorley's Connor Hall talking to BT Sport: "I thought we were the better team in the second half, we had them on the ropes and we can be proud of ourselves.

"They showed us respect bringing a strong side and we didn't do ourselves any harm.

"It is mad. In a couple of days time we will look back with pride. We got the news yesterday the league is taking a two week break, if this is the last game of the season, we have done ourselves proud.

"I am sure we will still be singing Adele anyway.

They have squeezed through - every single one of these Chorley players should be immensely proud of what we've witnessed and this amazing cup run. These boys have put in a phenomenal work rate and performance and they were very unlucky - especially in this second half where they've put Wolves under a lot of pressure.

They just couldn't find the back of the net or a clean enough shot on goal to be able to trouble John Ruddy. They played really well, mostly out of their skin, they were very unlucky.

Chorley will be gutted!

Wolves had one shot on target - the goal they scored - and goalkeeper Matthew Unwin did not have a single save to make.

The Premier League side could not work a non-league keeper at evening. Awful that.

Vitinha's strike wins the tie, but Chorley have won our hearts.

What a performance from the non-league side but it is not quite enough and their FA Cup dreams comes to an end.
