I want to tell you all about a brand new Blue Peter competition. I started the Earthshot Prize to search for solutions to the world's biggest environmental challenges. And we want to find the next generation of young inventors who can make a change.
The five Earthshot challenges are to Protect and Restore Nature.
If we do every little bit to try and help Mother Nature, we can make this world a better place.
Cleaner Our Air
Luckily, there are solutions that we can look to that can make our air more healthy to breathe.
Revive Our Oceans.
Not only do they support a huge variety of species, but they also help to sustain us.
Build a Waste Free World.
You can use it for packaging and you can eat it as well.
And, fix our climate.
We've hit a critical period and now it's a race against time.
Choose one of these themes for your idea, then tell us all about it. How can it be used and what benefit could it bring to the planet?

The Blue Peter Earthshot competition is now closed for entries.
The competition was set up to search for the next generation of young inventors, problem solvers and change-makers, giving viewers the chance to be recognised by His Royal Highness, Prince William鈥檚 prestigious Earthshot Prize.
Children aged 5-15 were invited to submit an original idea to address one of five important areas that need help: Fix our Climate, Protect and Restore Nature, Clean our Air, Revive our Oceans and Build a Waste-free World.
