6: A narrow escape
The two boys are seen by an RAF spotter plane while delivering food and blankets to the German airmen. They wave to the plane, and luckily it doesn鈥檛 spot the Germans in their makeshift hiding place nearby. The boys convince the Germans it鈥檚 a coincidence and they haven鈥檛 given them away. The Germans ask for one more delivery of food and then promise they won鈥檛 ask for anything more, but will try to cross the moor to the sea and escape. Reluctantly the boys agree. Will they get away with it a second time?
