What did you blag with your celebrity status?
Lulu: I think we could have milked it for a lot more than we did, looking back on it. We just got on with our job at the end of the day, got on the bus and went home. We were just dancers doing a job.

Was there ever an opportunity to hob nob with the stars?
Lulu: Oh yes. We used to be up in the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Bar after the programme which again was fun. But the people who were around a lot we got to know. But there were lots of one hit wonders who came and went. If there were people on the show we knew we might go for a drink or out to a club afterwards. That side of it was fun.

Were there any clashes between yourselves and celebs?
Lulu: No.

What about the relationship between the group itself?"
Lulu: That was pretty good but we did have our ups and downs, like any group of girls who are working five days a week. Looking back on it we were pretty good. There was the odd spat but nothing major.

Did they usually centre around a common theme? Were they specific?

Lulu: I'm not sure. Sometimes we would just see things differently. We came from different backgrounds. We weren't at eachother's throats all time. We were pretty easygoing. We weren't in competition with eachother; it was very much a team effort.

Was that down to the model that Pans People had set up? Because, at the time, there were prominent members and less prominent members. Was this something Flick tried to install in you?
Lulu: No, I think it was just the way we were. We weren't out for individual stardom. There certainly wasn't any competition between us at all.
