what a truley magical experiance if not a soogy one! the drum beats and chanting was such an energising feeling and totally made up for the clouds at dawn. how sad though to see such mess and so many people disrespecting these sacret stones, how many drunk and abussive revlers i tripped over i lost count they surley wer'nt there to wittness the spectacula of sun rise over the stones, the only spirituality in these drunken louts was vodka.it makes me laugh on any other day of the year peacefull folk come from all over the world with no vandelizm in mind and pay a fortune to veiw the stones from behind a distant rope berrier yet on the most sacret of times for the stones people can throw up smash glass and climb all over them.not the spiritual experiance i have dreamed of for so many years and certinatly enough to put me off attending another solctice.such a crying shame.!

What a wonderful solstice!! I wouldlike to note that pictures 55-64 are of the Kings Drummers or more widely known as Barking Bateria samba band! We drummed in the driving rain, well done guys!!!
