MyWorld Entry: Tunnel Kids (Gaza)

In this incredible entry from Palestine, Rif'aat Hamdiya shines a light on the click smuggling tunnels of Rafah that link Gaza with Egypt. Since the siege was imposed on Gaza, the tunnels in Rafah have been almost the sole commercial artery for Gazans. All kinds of commodities are transferred through them, such as food, medicines, and clothes. Most of the workers in the tunnels are young men under 18 who have left school to help support their families.
