In recent years London has become the world's financial centre, with new skyscrapers springing up across the city to house the global companies that make London their home.

London is also a magnet for economic migrants from other countries, who head to London to seek their fortune, or simply a better life.

But it's hard work. London is one of the most expensive cities in the world.

Londoners are concerned about the cost of housing and transport and compared to other cities in England, there are high levels of unemployment and poverty.

As this economic powerhouse steams ahead, does the emergence of the "super-rich" bring benefits to everyone, or does increasing inequality have more serious consequences?
