And as part of London week the World Service's global discussion programme, World Have Your Say, is attempting something ambitious. London, Sydney, New York and Toronto all claim to be the world's most multicultural city - but who is right? We decided to find out.

We are simulcasting with four radio stations in each of these cities (大象传媒 London, 702 ABC Sydney, 1010 Newstalk CFRB in Toronto, and WNYC in New York) so listeners around the world can discuss which city provides the best role model for a multicultural city.
