Michael Anderson
In 2002, Michael reached the finals of both So You Think You’re Funny and Take The Mike.
He has taken part in the ´óÏó´«Ã½ New Comedy Awards twice, reaching the semi-finals in 2002 and the final in 2003. Surprisingly, this Spanking New gig was only the 13th of Michael’s career, and his future plans are to concentrate on writing, with occasional stand-up gigs.
Matt Kirshen
In 2003, Matt won the Hackney Empire New Act Competition, and the Comedy Store King of Kings. In Edinburgh 2003, he performed in three shows: The Big Value Comedy Show, the Hackney Empire Stars Show, and Amused Moose Hot Starlets. Catch Matt performing at the major comedy clubs including The Comedy Store, Jongleurs, The Glee Club, and The Hyena, Newcastle.
Susan Vale
Susan has written for the 11 o’ Clock Show, Radio 4’s The In Crowd, and co-wrote the Radio 4 play Lottie The Mermaid with Lavinia Murray. They are currently working on another play. She has performed across the North-West, in Manchester’s Buzz Club and Frog and Bucket, Liverpool’s Everyman Theatre and The Rubber Chicken in Blackburn, as well as extensive gigging in Scotland, including Edinburgh’s The Stand.
Matt Blaize
Matt trained as an actor at the Drama Centre London, and has gone on to perform theatre and stand-up nationwide, including London’s Comedy Store, Jongleurs and Up The Creek, Just The Tonic in Nottingham and Manchester’s Buzz Club. He won the Leicester Mercury Comic of the Year in 2002, as well as winning both Take the Mike for Carlton TV, and the Laughing Horse competition. Matt performed Ebony and Irony at the Underbelly in the 2002 Edinburgh Festival. He will be taking his first ever one –hour solo show to the Soho Theatre from January 31st at 19.45.
