Spanking New (Series 2, Show 4): 2nd February 2004 @ 11 pm
Martin "Bigpig" Mor
Born into a circus family Martin had an early career as a juggler, unicyclist, knife thrower, fire-eater, and magician. As the result of an accident in the big top, in which he sustained a shattered ankle, he was forced to retire from performing his famous, (and unique) freestanding ladder/tall unicycle/ basketball juggling/pyrotechnic act. He became a stand-up comedian.
Martin's photograph is featured on the popular board game Trivial Pursuits. The Genus Edition. On an arts entertainments square. One of the pink ones. He is wearing a leotard.
Marian Pashley
Marian Pashley has performed around the country - from London's Comedy Store, to the Edinburgh Festival. Not satisfied with just being a very funny stand up comedian, Marian is also an accomplished sketch writer. Noted for her deadpan delivery, the Herald said she could be Les Dawson's grand-daughter. That's because of her jokes, not the way she looks.
Steve Hall
Runner-up in the 大象传媒 New Comedy Awards 2003, and a finalist in the Daily Telegraph Open mic awards in 2002, Steve is cutting a dash on the comedy circuit with his wry and sarcastic humour. He'd like to make it clear that despite all appearances he didn't go to Oxford or Cambridge.
Henrik Elmer
It takes a lot to master the art of the one-liner, especially when English isn't your first language, but Swedish comedian Henrik Elmer has managed it with style. Quiet, laid back, and extremely funny, his cleverly constructed gags tickle any audience pink
