Spanking New (Series 2, Show 5): 9th February 2004 @ 11 pm
Michael Legge
Michael had his big break as warm up man for the Channel 5 series The Jack Docherty Show (don鈥檛 laugh). From warm ups it was a natural progression into the world of stand up comedy as a compere, beginning at The Big Fish, Richmond. With bookings all around the world (though mainly South London) Michael is also fast becoming an established, skilful, entertaining, and of course funny compere.
Anthony J Brown
Anthony has worked his way from Runner- up in 大象传媒 New Comedy Awards 2000, to win the Jongleurs/Metro "Stand & Deliver" Award in 2003. He's also appeared in Channel 4's "Phoenix Nights". He's a very funny man, but we're a bit worried by the fascination with dolls heads.
Toby Hadoke
Winner of the inaugural Les Dawson award for services to comedy, Toby Hadoke is the man behind top Manchester comedy club XS Malarkey, as well as one of the best comperes on the circuit. In addition to his stand up work, Toby finds time to act and write for theater and his adaptation of Accidental Death of an Anarchist won plaudits all over the place.
Alistair Barrie
Alistair Barrie first rose to prominence with his sell-out 2002 debut Edinburgh show The Uncertainty Principle. He's noted for his superb topical stuff, and Metro particularly like his ability to "drop from the highbrow to the gutter in the draw of a breath".
