Home is where the heart is...
Whatever the weather there were some great tracks tonight especially being Boiled and You Better You Bet. Also, who knew Take That and Genesis would sound so good together?
I've got a couple of days off on Thursday and Friday so Vic Galloway will be looking after the show. Tomorrow he'll be attempting to prove there's no place like home. From Johnny Come Home to Feel's Like Home, he'll be looking for songs about the place that we all look forward to returning to.

Adam,
Mais oui! How else will Norrie get Roll Away the Stone played?
Perhaps we can have a multi-theme. April 6th. is Good Friday, First Night of Passover and the 692nd. anniversary of the Declaration of Arbroath!

Anyone want to know about Joe? No? then skip to #10
Joe was great, he gave us 2 and a half hours of solid entertainment; superb guitar, excellent singing. Started with Slow Train - a perfect opener, speed building up on the drums then Joe bursts in. Last Kiss, fab song, lots more, then a bit of fun with Joe playing a twin-necked guitar and having a jokey duel with the drummer. Yes, fine, but you know how it is with drum solos, they're OK as long as they're capped at 1 minute. A bit of virtuosity on the acoustic guitar (it's there on Youtube, I guess it's his concert party-piece), which is astonishing to watch and you try not to think, Joe, you're going to have arthritic hands before your time of you go on like that - but it's also quite untuneful after a while. Stop, Joe, enough! What I'm getting at is that somehow it left me a bit flat, and I can't really work out why. I think maybe it was me, not Joe. I'm sure it was a blistering performance. The seats were a bit blistering too if you were not as well padded as the person overflowing her seat next to me.
