THE TOP 5...

Click on song titles for ChartBlog review and media.
Ìý 1 TAKE THAT 'SHINE'
Ìý 2 GWEN STEFANI ft. AKON 'THE SWEET ESCAPE'
Ìý 3 KAISER CHIEFS 'RUBY'
Ìý 4 JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE 'WHAT GOES AROUND...'
Ìý 5 THE FRAY 'HOW TO SAVE A LIFE'
The entire Top 40 is right here...

After the excitement of Take That taking the number one slot for the second time, this week's chart is all about consolidation. They're still there, the Kaisers are still doing well, Gwen's alright, the Fray are alright, and Justin T is doing marvellously, thank you.

Luckily, there's loads still to talk about further down in the chart...

Like the very wonderful Biffy Clyro, who've got to No.13 with 'Saturday Superhouse'.

After so long plugging away as a respected cult band, it must be odd to suddenly break through to chart success, with all the attendant hoopla that comes with it. So JK and Joel set out to find out how they're coping. The key phrase here is "Lots of lovely pop songs and tons of ROCK!"

And at No.27 this week, rave-rockers Enter Shikari have made their chart debut, but are they grateful? Are they cack! They're too busy taking potshots at their chart rivals, like Shakira. Must be a name thing...

Until next time, Chartwatchers,

Tatty-bye!
