DESPOT DICTATOR BLIND DATE

Chris Evans | 15:41 UK time, Friday, 24 August 2007

Love it...

... once again not much for us lads here. Women don't tend to want to control, conquer or commit genocide, too much going on, they don't have the time.

Castro has to be a decent shout for the girls and the serious communist guys would be a challenge. Just getting them to crack the smile the world was not allowed to see would be worth it. Ladies you'd have them licked in the throb of a vein.

Staunch, stern, severe and so serious, what a dull existence. So what if nations live in fear of your every breath. You're going to be in bed on your own at night or lying in the bath knowing no one likes you. What a load of cold pudding.

Alright then what if you had to mange tout right up along side a national news reader... I daren't get involved in this one...

Oh alright An...

off to prepare the ALL REQUEST FRIDAY show thing... EVERYONE IN THE OFFICE IN A BRILL MOOD TODAY.

HOPE YOU'RE WELL YOU LOT.

CLP 2007.

X.

Glad you are all in fine fettle! You have to be kidding though. News readers?

Blimey. Thats hard. (Obviously not for here)

    Day 28. Going strong...

At last, I`m doing something interesting for the weekend and could text ARF about it, but I`m not feeling all that lucky today. So just for the bloggers, I`m off to a combined party on Sunday for my two nieces, one is setting off soon on an around the World journey with her freind, and my other niece is off to study medicine. So that`s Sunday sorted. Blogger can I request from you Australia by The Manic`s? Thanks

Everyone have a great weekend, and if your down in the dumps, do something different, get a bit of exercise in and think of better times in your life, cos better days will follow.

PS I`ve just read some of my blogs this week. Yeeks, I sounded oh so serious, stuff about polititians, the state of the nation etc. Perhaps I need a drink! Only joking.

I am so fed up with the benefit people. They don't have a clue about m.e and my appeal is gonna be in Nottingham (yeah thats helpful living in Norwich!). So I am demanding another medical examination with a different doctor who doesn't put words in my mouth and say I can do thinks I haven't done since having m.e like going in the city on my own. Its just a horrible mess and I hate it! So off to do some knitting! Take my stress out on those needles!

They do all these programmes on people who claim all these benefits but you never hear about people who need the benefits and can't get them!

Anyway, have a great weekend folks, I read you all every day so this is my first Hi and I'll check in again on Monday.

Fenella Fudge. The best name in the business.

    She sounds so sweet. Ahem.

Had a great day today. The previous owners of MfR Heights decided to put a border round the hall, stairs and landing using industrial strength glue. We've spent the whole blimmin' day trying to coax the bloody thing off the walls. I think we're there now, but it means that the whole weekend will now be taken up with this irritating thing called 'DIY'.

    Hey. Ho.

The steam engines are rolling into Rudgwick in force today as it is the festival weekend.

Think of it as Glastonbury. But with slightly less mud, a few more tractors, marginally less drugs and one or two extra village idiots.

Please. If you do find the website, and it is fun, we're the ones not there.

That'll ensure I'm banned from the village planning committee for life.

If you are coming, have a good time and, if you manage to track down our place, you are welcome to pop in for a beer.

That goes for you too, Mr E.

    Much peace & love

MJ - brilliant!!! well done, so pleased for you. Have a lovely day on sunday xx

Gingembre - hope you enjoyed wed eve. Thanks for mentioning me lad. One of our Irish strikers done good too : )

CLP - loved the 'Bring Me Sunshine' and the 'who would you' blog games. Am I too late to join in 'yesterday's' game?.....

My evening-out-person would be Stephen Fry...a Leader of the Arts World (in my opinion) for sure. He would be such good company methinks and think how much I would learn. Happy 50th Birthday to him!!

My newsreader is, without doubt, the delightful Neall Patterson on Skynews, Political Editor (I think I may have just promoted him - or is that just in my dreams!!) - he may be 'Correspondent' rather than 'Editor'!! Have had a crush on him for a while. I know, I know he's not a newsreader (as such), but he can be my anchor man any day.

I love games - cheers Chris.

Sun is shining here - quite unbelievable - I may even have to take a layer off.

    Mange tout, mange tout.

WHOO HOO its sunny again here in Norwich! Went to Lowestoft today with my mum and cousin but really didn't feel to good. I knew it was coming as did too much yesterday. Has any Norfolk/ Suffolk folk been to the Flying Fifteens tea room on the front in Lowestoft. They are only open from April-Sept and its the lovliest place ever. Today was no exception. I recommend that you all go as there strawberry scones are just too good!

Love all the comments about the shoes. Here's a little tip, if you go on my blog and click on the adverts I get something like 26 u.s cents and when I get to $100 they will send me a cheque, then I can get the shoes!!!

I'm gonna take a picture of my 'Carrie' bag right now for all you readers. missy xx

A band I have watched from afar but never really checked out. J Mascis is a living legend.

The jets are passing over as the 'Wings & Wheels' event climaxes over in Dunsfold (Top Gear country). This really is a nice part of the world to be in this time of year.

Tomorrow will be about 'dressing' our 'new' rooms. i.e.: Spending loads of money.

Anyhoo, dunno about all of you, but I had a super fabby turtley BRILLIANT weekend, thank you to all those involved...

Our Pagan friends had a first wedding anniversary party on Saturday, and as the traditional pressie (apparently) is Paper, me and the badger made them a mobile of doves on a stick! I suppose you had to be there...which we were, so that's ok then...then on Sunday another friend came to visit, and we both (but not the badger, due to work committments (other committments available - hope France goes well for you Elm)) and we committed TOTAL carnage upon ourselves and my fine home city...WOT a night...have not done dancin' like that for a very long time!

Spent yesterday on the sofa. Thank gawd for soft furnishings I say...

    Annie - hallo!

MfR, glad the DIY went well, your detestation of the job has been well documented by yourself on here more than once, so...well done and take five house points...x

I work with a chap who is really useless, he takes credit for all the work that everyone else does and he's my boss. Deep joy.

He also lies. I've caught him out three times now - the latest is in trying to introduce conflict between myself and the new girl, who's my assistant. I know he does it because he feels very threatened by me but I really don't know how to deal with it.

He is the apple of the big boss's eye too!!!
