Right, no idea if this will get read or has already been mentioned but I'll carry on with this suggestion anyway (if this does get noticed, please note I have made an account specifically for this so at least appreciate the effort even if the idea's not a brilliant one!)

For the 'it's not all doom and gloom bit' there's a website called operationbeautiful.
People leave anonymous messages on post-it notes in public places, people just go about their day and see these with words like 'you're perfect as you are' on them and it's a much needed confidence boost. I know someone who put them on the diet pages of some awful tabloid magazine in a shop, and has noticed that other people have started doing this too. I put one up about a month back and have since noticed others appearing about the place. I understand I've probably explained this horribly but here's a link to the page (which I hope will work) so this should explain it better...

Russell, just seen something on Saturday Kitchen at 1105 where 2 chefs were cooking off against each other. The female judge, quite old and a bit on the posh side, said 'i like a bit of tongue'. I was tidying up at the time and was the only thing I heard from the entire segment. It had me and my expectant partner in stitches.

Apparently (dont know whether it is true or not) my brother went to hug you in a pub but just before he did he realised it wasnt you! so that means if my brother saw you he would hug you lol

Russell, great show still managing to push the boundaries of the very PC world. A local news article in Teesside on Look North was discussing a lady who was trampled by cattle whilst walking her dog, I'm not sure if it was intentional (the follow up comment not the mass terrorist attack), the newsreader said "the ladies condition has been described as "Stable"!!!.

Some good news. Im currently helping a friend called Neil O'Maonaigh-Lennon run continuously around the whole of Great Britain doing a full marathon everyday. He started in Brighton on September 10th and has just reached John O'Groats! He's going to run down the west coast and be back in Brighton on December 23rd. He's raising money for cancer research. If you could give him a shout out it'd be great, he really deserves it.Ta.

Bill Clinton managed to lose the nuclear launch codes - for months - during his time as US President, a new book claims.

General Hugh Shelton, who served under Clinton as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, claims the card bearing the top secret codes were missing during 2000.

"At one point during the Clinton administration the codes were actually missing for months. That's a big deal - a gargantuan deal," General Shelton says in his memoir, Without Hesitation: The Odyssey of an American Warrior.

US presidents are supposed to keep the card - known as "the biscuit" - close to them at all times, reports The Sun.

Another senior military firgure linked to the Clinton administration, Lieutenant Colonel Robert Patterson, claims in another book that the President's memory lapse caused a huge panic in the White House.

"He thought he just placed them upstairs," Lieutenant Colonel Patterson said.

"We called upstairs, we started a search around the White House for the codes, and he finally confessed that he in fact misplaced them. He couldn't recall when he had last seen them."

Before a president can launch a nuclear attack, he has to input the codes to arm the warheads.

White House spokesman Joe Lockhart confessed in 1999 that Mr Clinton had once left a NATO summit in such haste that he left behind his briefcase that contained the codes.

There have long been rumours that former President Jimmy Carter left the card in a suit which was sent to the dry cleaners. That story has never been confirmed or denied.

Okay so i have some good news for you!! I'm debating in the house of commons with a few hundred of my mates from Youth Parliament!! This is a great thing to put on your show however we are in on Friday 29th October so it'll have to be next weeks show ahhhh. Brilliant show, and here is a good news story, This story is pretty old, but its brilliant :) ::

A pod of dolphins circled protectively round a group of New Zealand swimmers to fend off an attack by a great white shark.

Rob Howes and three other lifeguards were on a training swim about 100 metres offshore at Ocean Beach near Whangarei when the dolphins raced in and herded the group together.

Rob said: "They started to herd us up, they pushed all four of us together by doing tight circles around us."

At that time the lifeguards didn't realize that the dolphins where defending them from a shark. When Rob tried to drift away from the group, two of the bigger dolphins herded him back just as he spotted a nine-foot great white shark swimming toward the group..

"I just recoiled. It was only about two metres away from me, the water was crystal clear and it was as clear as the nose on my face."

The lifeguards spent the next 40 minutes surrounded by the dolphins before they could safely swim back to shore.

According to the "Environment group Orca Research", dolphins attack sharks to protect themselves and their young, so their actions in protecting the lifeguards was understandable.

Thank you making this show. I spend a disproportionate amount of my time worrying and this show makes me just feel genuinely happy, it stops me worrying so much. So thank you very very much for that :)

Also i have just seen on sky sports news at 4:55 PM on October 26 one of the best reactions by a news reporter ever. Its the male reporters reaction to the female reporters view on a paul the octopus commeration that made me laugh. Sadly i dont have a clip but if you can find it it's certainly worth the trouble.

Human remains at care home was chicken skin

Police forensic teams were called to a care home after it was thought that human remains had been found.

Following an investigation at Summer Vale Care Centre in Mowmacre Hill, Leicester, it was discovered that the skin belonged to a chicken.

Builders were sifting through bags of sand at about 4pm on Monday when they found what they thought was human skin. A member of staff at the home, who asked not to be named, said: 鈥淭here were detectives and scientists in white overalls 鈥� it was like a proper television crime show.鈥�

A police spokesman said: 鈥淥fficers attended and forensic tests were carried out. It was confirmed by our forensics officers that it was the skin of a chicken.鈥�
