Hi Russel, I'd just like to say, that I actually have good news about mistreated women in India, it seems to be that there is actually a woman that has stood up for the other mistreated women and spoken out to the men that have mistreated them and taken all women her home to stay and live there, now she isn't really rich or anything but she has actually had the guts to speak up and finally be courageuos. WOW! That has never happened before in the slums of India, ususally the men beat there wives and tell them to do what they want, and finally now, there is a women that has had the guts to stand up and speak up. Thank you, thats all I wanted to share.

P.S: I absolutely love your shows, they're amazingly intriguing!

At the end of your show you always ask us to tell you any big, good stories for the "it's not all doom and gloom" section, so here you go.

On the 17th of December a hug project truely began on youtube that had been being planned and made for a few months before that. It was called Proect for Awesome, which was originally started in 2009 I believe, but john and hank green otherwise known as VlogBrothers on youtube. This years was the biggest yet, with the brothers themselves raising ten thousandpounds for charity and many famous vloggers each auctioned their property. The whole idea is that each vlogger intested makes a video to raise awareness for a charity. Over 11 thousand people did it this year, as well as a five hour live show being made in partnershipwith youtube itself. Some of the videos are amazing, and it really shows how much people do actually care. I personally feel blessed just for being a part of it.

I am going to miss good news. I love the show and I want to say Well Done to Russell and all of the people that helped with Good News ^^ And I was annoyed this christmas because Father Christmas didn't get me a Best of Series One DVD! But my mum's gonna get it for me soon. It's good because I can't remember much about series one apart from the polite rap, which I've had stuck in my head all day! I met my Grandma earlier, and I saying to myself "Mother-figure, mother-figure, mother-figure yeah!", and she just walked past me suavely and said "I know I am!". She's so awesome... :D
Anyway, thanks for a lovely series, and a lovely show. And I can't wait till March when Good News returns! I shall be waiting 'till then... ;)

Hope the whole team had an awesome Christmas especially Russell who i hoped made it home in time as was supposed to perform at kings place but couldn't catch a plane because the snow :(

I have a good new story for series 4, about a disabled 7 year old child being able to have much more freedom and the ability to communicate with his friends and family through the use of an iPad.

Hey Russell, I've got an incredible good news story, people say the internet doesn't do anything good most of the time but a wonderful thing happened. One youtube in under 48 hours, helped a homeless guy off the streets, given him a house and a job, helped him to get clean from drugs and is now on air again.
The 53 year old Ted Williams was discovered by a local news reporter and became an internet sensation because of his 'Golden Voice', He was offered a job by the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers for an announcer and they said they will pay his living expenses. He is also being perused for NFL work

My Dog Oli and I were today in the Daily Mail surfing, page three, The metro and a load of local news papers. (see link below)



The thing is that the newspapers made him out to be a very good dog to train and an intelligent bread, what they didn't know is that he got caught in a cat flap on boxing day...THIS VIDEO BELOW IS HILARIOUS!

I was just going to suggest Oli, but his owner beat me to it !

I had to comment on a piece on Yahoo abut an Egyptian man who named his daughter after the social network he was on through the recent troubles.

She was named Facebook. Poor little thing - I can picture the other kids at school laughing their socks off at register!

Russel Howard is gorgeous and hes hilarious so there's a bonus,, watch this show whenever i can keeps me laughing throughout :)
