Totally have to check out this hilarious clip of the queen. If you got time though you should totally watch the whole vid. It is HILARIOUS! Best parts include singing to a toilet bit at 1:13, the 'aren't you gonna' molest me?' bit at about 2:27, the 'YES! Until the 6th facebookers are changing their display pictures to cartoon characters from their childhoods and posting this status: Change your Facebook profile picture to a cartoon character from your childhood and invite your friends to do the same, for the NSPCC. Until Monday (Dec 6th), there should be no human faces on Facebook, but an invasion of memories. This is a campaign to stop violence against .........children.

Another good news story, maybe not as impressive at first sight, but these retired volounteers featured in the daily mail, basically stick with a kid and help them read. But think about it, how much more do u listen to David attingbrough's restful old voice as compared to chris Moyles, u see my point? Older people make good teachers, when ur that age why not have patience? Anyways, if u could give me a shout out on ur show, much obliged, if not just show this to the world;

Please take a look at this for a story...this is a moving video made by the charity Love146, who work to raise awareness about child sex trafficking and provide after care and rehabilitation for those affected. It's not a light topic for a story and definitely gives me the chills, but at the same time gives hope and comfort in the knowledge that there are people out there trying to make a difference.

Amazing good news story!

There is a little boy in Cornwall by the name of Marshall Jansen, on boxing day 2008 he was diagnosed with an agressive form of meningitus just days after his first birthday.

He has had to have both his legs and hands amputated to save his life, but is the happiest most inspirational little boy I have ever met. The great news has just been announced that over the past 19 months we in Cornwall have raised £250,000 - a quarter of the goal amount to care for him and help him get his prospectic limbs up until he turns 18.

Please, please check it out and help rise awareness and recognition for this little boy and his bravery! Below are two websites, his own and the news article on the fundraising.

Not a major news story but I know Russell had a joke about 'having fun at a zoo' if he had the power to make people (or in his fantasy - animals) orgasm if he touched them :P Perhaps a slight twist in that could fit with this story?

on friday the thrid on the bbc news i think it was, there was some pictures of the protesters about university fees and unfortunatley i cant find the clip at the moment, but look out for a sign from news clips that day in the back ground that says 'should have gone to hogwarts' it made my day :')

Its not very funny but kinda sweet so i'll post it anyway!

Everyone on Facebook has been encouraged to change their profile picture to a cartoon character of thier childhood to raise awareness of child abuse for NSPCC.

I find it funny how LOADS of people (Well, I say loads, it was only like 3, 4 people) who talked about the profile picture on facebook thing for the NSPCC. But then I saw this on Failbook (A type of Failblog- but to do with fails on facebook) and the first bit made me laugh-

This is hilarous - someone with a sense of humour about the snow :)

Watched the show tonight and had a great time - as usual :^) Particularly enjoyed the mystery guest and her mind-altering effect on Russ. Russ, just say 'No'!

I also wanted to draw your attention to the Sharpe's Children Foundation (www.sharpeschildren.com) which is an extraordinary example of what a group of people who are truly moved by the suffering they see can achieve.

This is a relatively young undertaking and needs all the support it can get so, whether it ends up on the show or not, if anyone can take the time to check it out and maybe even get involved, it will be greatly appreciated.

this woman and her daughter both had cancer are raising money for a charity that has helped them. To do this they have decorated their house and even transformed their conservatory into a Santa's grotto to help raise money and awareness for the beloved charity, "The Big C".
they said they are not only doing it for the charity but "for the village, and the people in the village and the children"

There is to be a creationist theme park built in Kentucky. "Whats the point in going to a theme park where all the rides consist of closing your eyes and covering your ears with your hands while yelling." Apparently it's going to be fueled by book burnings.

The Health & Safety Executive in Ireland issued this warning on the news earlier..

"The HSE has issued the following tips to those who would prefer to walk, rather than skate or slide home from work this evening.

Researchers in Wolong Panda Reserve dress up as pandas to fool a cub that is to be reintroduced into the wild.

This is for the "It's not all doom and gloom". There is this girl called Sarah Phillips who sang a song for her dying mother who had cervical cancer. It was a Youtube hit and she has raised a lot of money for charity to set up a research clinic. She has just released another song.

Apparently the campaign had nothing to do with the NSPCC, and has now been accused as being set up by paedophiles in the hopes children will change their pics to modern cartoon characters! I don't believe it for a second, it's just another story to make people think the internet is inhabited by paedos.
