 |  | Frolicking where others fear to tread, Fierce! is the international performance festival that bites.
The ambitious and eclectic festival brings together a range of events all over the West Midlands, from Friday 16 May to Sunday 8 June. The events are to be held in hotels, gentlemen's clubs and ordinary houses as well as galleries and theatres.

This year's Fierce! has a truly international flavour, with visitors including two legends from the USA - Ron Athey and Lydia Lunch - along with two up-and-coming dance companies, Zero Visibility from Norway and Granh酶j Dans from Denmark.
In addition, we're happy to see Anglo-German collective Gob Squad will be back in the UK, performing more witty interventions into everyday life.

Travelling across the Midlands will reward rambling audiences with a huge range of events, but staying closer to home, we've selected some of the highlights in Coventry.
FOOTFACE

Granh酶j Dans kicked off Fierce with FootFace, a change to see dance lying on your back!
This fantastic spectacle delighted audiences at Warwick Arts Centre on 19 and 20 May.

ROOM SERVICE

Gob Squad are a collective of German and British artists, celebrated for their witty and unsettling interventions into everyday life.
For Fierce, on 23 May they contributed their first UK performance of Room Service, a look into the lives and events of four people secretly being watched in their hotel rooms.
SPACE INVADERS

Space Invaders is the section of the festival that provides a platform for regional talent. You are invited to find installations, interventions and performances taking place in nooks and crannies all over Warwick Arts Centre on Friday and Saturday, 30 and 31 May.

SCAVENGERS

Not your average art event, Scavengers promises to be an outlandish, entertaining and potentially lucrative day out, with a touch of Anneka Rice and a healthy dose of satire thrown in.
Devised by artist and performer Joshua Sofaer, the event will give you an opportunity to take a fresh look at the city around you.
As a team of up to four people, you have to chase after clues, which will lead you to locations dotted all over the city. Each find is worth points and the team with the most points at the end of the day wins 拢1000!
