If you're bored with aerobics, haven't used your gym membership since the day after your fitness test and the local swimming pool is uninspiring, then the 17 May Lifestyle do is definitely up your street. Literally.
Dancing, kicking, punching and static cycling are some of the latest ways to get fit and are all on show at the Lower Precinct event.
A wide range of the latest activities will be demonstrated on-stage by Coventry Sports Trust, Coventry Sports Foundation, a Chinese instructor and a caf茅-bar.

Dancing is becoming an increasingly popular way to get exercise and have fun. Caramba, based at The Old Hall, Tamworth Road, have started salsa dancing classes at their new caf茅-bar and are finding them very popular.
Coventry Sports Trust introduced line-dancing into their centres five years ago and now find they are as much social as sports classes.
The Sports Trust also run boxercise classes which combine aerobics with boxing training moves, including the use of punch bags and Aerobiking which is organised group aerobics on exercise bikes.
听Coventry's Sports Foundation have recently introduced two very new classes, Tai Bo and Cardio Kick. Tai Bo combines martial arts with an exercise routine involving elements of boxing training, body combat and self defence techniques.
Cardio Kick is an aerobics based routine using leg work and kicking combined with upper body work, which is all designed to increase the heart rate.
听Coventry Sports Foundation's Lifestyles Manager, Marcus Bergin said: "The whole industry is changing and there is a greater demand for classes such as Tai Bo, which are very visual and different to the more mundane aerobics and step aerobics classes.
"Anyone of any age or level can take part and I'm sure our demonstrations will encourage more people to sign up and have a go!"

A gentler form of exercise, Tai Chi, will be demonstrated by Chinese instructor Donna Lui who works with the Coventry and Warwickshire Chinese Association on this relaxing martial art, which is designed to improve balance and posture.
So if you've tried on your summer bikini or beach boxer shorts and felt afraid to look in the mirror, there could be something for you at the Sports Lifestyle event. If you're already a size 10 and super fit, you could still go along and have a punch, box or salsa.
