Joe Stilgoe sings up a musical chilli pepper with the rockin' rhythms of the Kings of Jump, Jive and Swing. The sassiest, swingingest show in comes to Radio 2 for a special Friday Night Is Music Night. The concert features the style and swing of Stilgoe with the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Big Band and special guests. Joe will be peforming music that inspired him from the 40s and 50s, and shining a light on his heroes who shared a name - Louis Prima, Louis Jordan and Louis Armstrong. Hits include: ’Is You Is Or Is You Ain't My Baby’, ‘Just A Gigolo’, ‘The King of the Swingers’, ‘Jeepers Creepers’, and many more, with Joe’s modern classic originals (We Should Kiss, Totally) thrown in the pot for good measure. A fabulously feel good feast of music, featuring the astonishing ´óÏó´«Ã½ Big Band conducted by Chris Egan and special guests. All being recorded for ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 2’s ‘Friday Night Is Music Night’.
