Folklore has it that there are 365 islands in Strangford Lough, one for every
day of the year. The great thing is that you don't have to count them from the
shore - there are boat trips that'll take you out to see them.
Three hundred
and fifty million litres of water flow in and out of Strangford Lough twice daily
so it's perhaps no surprise that it's one of the richest marine environments in
Europe.
The
River Wye is renowned for its stunning scenery and wildlife. The river valley
is home to a wealth of wildlife.
"Water plays an incredibly important role in the shaping of our landscape.
"Waterways are a great place to see wildlife from a very different
perspective. They're amongst the best places to see some of our most exciting
wildlife."
