I was at the Royal Military College doing the training, and Addison was the first man, it鈥檚 a tradition now, but he was the first man to have sat on a horse and rode it up the steps. They do it now at every passing out parade 鈥 as Addison did, when the parade鈥檚 finished, a horse is ridden up the steps.
