The Home Guard, Wellington

This photograph was taken of the Home Guard in Wellington, as they marched down Sutherland Avenue, past Wrekin College.

The man saluting is Captain E. Hunt.

This photograph was submitted to the People’s War site by Becky Barugh of the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Shropshire CSV Action Desk on behalf of John Galloway who very kindly shared it with us. It has been added to the site with his permission and Mr Galloway fully understands the site's terms and conditions.
