The Centre participated in the 大象传媒 WW2 People's War Initiative with a drop-in event on Nov 8. We seek, for our digital imaging project, local wartime and other photographs, and reminiscences on the photographs in our collection. Contact Paul Sandford at sandfopa@hotmail.com if you can offer any material on loan or deposit.

The centre exists to encourage interest in local and family history in the parishes of Caterham, Chaldon, Chelsham, Farleigh, Tatsfield, Titsey, Warlingham, Whyteleafe and Woldingham.
We offer an extensive range of resources including census records, parish registers, large scale maps, directories and photos.
We provide microfilm and microfiche readers and there is access to the internet on the library computer terminals.
If we can't answer your question, we can refer you to local experts or Surrey History Service. When the centre is not staffed you can leave a written enquiry.
The centre is a partnership between Surrey Libraries, Surrey History Service, the Bourne Society, East Surrey Museum and East Surrey Family History Society plus community organisations in the area we serve.
