The Fernhurst Centre is a small Community Centre and Internet Cafe in the Centre of Fernhurst (a village in West Sussex). The Centre has been open for just 2 years and is staffed entirely by volunteers. The first WW2 day with wartime cakes and tea was held at the Centre in March 2004 and a further open day to celebrate D-Day on 5 June. The Centre took part in the WW2 Marathon War Story morning on 7 July and as a result a number of new stories and photographs have been added to the website.
