I am very interested in the Flying bomb and Rocket attacks of 1944-1945 and in particular their, effect on South East London. I am compiling a data base of all the incidents and would be very interested to hear any personal experienced of these incidents.
The area that I am interested in Covers the following London Boroughs :
Lambeth,Southwark,Lewisham,Beckenham,Penge
Croydon Wandsworth(Old boroughs)
Any memories,stories,anicdotes however big or small would be really appreciated. A place name including the name of the road would be extremely useful.
