Football Diaries

In the warm-up to Euro 2004, this observational documentary celebrates the central role that football plays in people's culture 聳 portraying the clubs, managers, agents and fans, as well as the players themselves and their wives, in a very real-life drama.

This is football from the inside out 聳 as much about life off the pitch as on it.

The series reflects the highs and lows of this highly competitive world and follows characters from across the divisions, destined to win the nation's hearts 聳 fanatical groundsmen, buccaneer chairmen, a tough manager with everything to play for and, most importantly, the players themselves.
