大象传媒 Music Introducing showcase at Eurosonic 2019

In January, headed off to for the first time. Eurosonic is an annual four-day music festival and conference in Groningen, Netherlands.
大象传媒 Music Introducing teamed up with PRS Foundation to take two upcoming artists from the UK to perform internationally. Huw Stephens from 大象传媒 Radio 1 and 大象传媒 Radio 6Music’s Steve Lamacq selected one act each for this opportunity.

Boy Azooga head to Eurosonic with Introducing and PRS Foundation
Huw Stephens selected Cardiff psyche-pop band Boy Azooga!
They are Davey, Daffyd, Dylan and Sam, influenced by The Beastie Boys and Outkast.
Their track Face Behind Her Cigarette was the Introducing track of the Week on Radio 1 and they performed on the 大象传媒 Music Introducing stage at The Biggest Weekend in Swansea in May 2018.
This year they’re supporting Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.

LION goes to Eurosonic!
LION went to Eurosonic with Introducing and PRS Foundation
Steve Lamacq picked LION, a rock and roll/pop songstress living in Bournemouth, supported by 大象传媒 Music Introducing Solent.
LION has been gigging since she was 14 and takes influence from by PJ Harvey, Sia and Alabama Shakes.
Her track Oh No was a previous Introducing track of the week on 大象传媒 Radio 1.
