In a climate that recognised the severity of the Treaty of Versailles and harboured a fear of another such war, Germany鈥檚 rearmament did not prompt any country to threaten invasion. The secret bombers and submarines told a different story. The clip also shows examples of how the professions were stripped of non-Nazis, with an example being made out of those who dared to protest.
