A hard-working, experienced nurse with years in the game, Siobhan has seen it all, done it all and is increasingly unwilling to take any crap. She’s the salt of the earth… with bite. Having worked in many different hospitals and on every different kind of ward, Siobhan is front-footed, authoritative, courageous and brimming with integrity. If anyone can sort out the mess of Holby’s ED, it’s Siobhan.
She’s supremely competent. Firm, but fair. She’s both the person you want in a crisis and the person you want down the pub. You can trust her with a secret. She’s warm, loyal and decent... just make sure you stay on her right side. She’ll make mincemeat of you if you don’t. She’s practical. She knows the rules, but she’s worked in the NHS long enough that she isn’t afraid of doing things her own way if it’ll be more effective. She tackles the bureaucratic issues of the ED head-on and uses her skill and strength to get what her department needs.
