Did the turkey stag get crushed against a wall or fence, or was it blown clear to Ronaldsay or Hoy? Surely it did not go all the way to Calum.'s or Island Thread's backyard? Polytunnel: do you plan to heat it up, or is it to be used as a cold frame/unheated green house?

Hi Mjc Borris the turkey stag got blown against the wall I think. Marvin & Matilda, the pair of grey turkeys have since been told that on bad nights they will be picked up & put inside if they dont do so of theyre own free will. The poly tunnel is just used as a huge unheated greenhouse, believe me, from feb onwards the last thing thats needed inside there is a heater, you have to layer up to get down to it during feb, but once in your stripping down to Tshirt & wishing you had shorts on. Going to have to beg space in the neighbours next month to get the tomato's etc started.
