    Jacks b de Lange 88 (Somerset 180 v Surrey 333-6)

Well, Somerset did pick up a wicket - but it came two balls after the cut-off point, so no bonus for them.

However, they'll nevertheless be delighted to see the back of Will Jacks, who is bowled by one that came back at him from Marchant de Lange - 12 short of what would have been only his second first-class hundred.

Jamie Overton is out there now alongside Jordan Clark.

    Warwickshire 292 v Lancashire 255-6

    Hello!

Danny Lamb suddenly goes on the charge, striking Liam Norwell for a four, followed by back-to-back sixes at the end of the over.

Lamb moves from two to 18 and the deficit is quickly down to 37.

    Somerset 180 v Surrey 321-5

We're into the last chance saloon for bonus points in this match, with 108 overs bowled.

Somerset need a wicket to claim a second bowling point, while Surrey - in theory - would bag a fourth batting point if they score 29 from these next two overs.

Unlikely that Jacks and Clark will go all out for that, you feel - their main concern is to extend Surrey's innings for as long as possible, with the lead currently standing at 141.

  4. Postpublished at 17:18 British Summer Time 13 June 2022

    Warwickshire 292 v Lancashire 237-6

Steven Croft moves into the 80s.

Can Lancashire squeeze out any sort of first-innings lead at Edgbaston? They trail by 55 with four wickets remaining.

  5. Postpublished at 17:14 British Summer Time 13 June 2022

    Hants 131-4 v Yorkshire 428

Hampshire have a couple of experienced heads at the crease in Ben Brown and Liam Dawson.

They've just calmed things down after Nick Gubbins fell straight after tea.

  6. wicket

WICKETpublished at 17:09 British Summer Time 13 June 2022

    Bell-Drummond c Bracey b Higgins 89 (Kent 165-2 v Gloucs 438)

Daniel Bell-Drummond looked nailed on for a century - but it's not to be as Ryan Higgins brings himself back on and immediately has the Kent batter caught behind with one that reared off the surface.

Gloucestershire badly needed that breakthrough and now they'll be thinking that, if they can also shift Ben Compton soon, Kent will find themselves under renewed pressure.

    Somerset 180 v Surrey 302-5

Surrey have begun to accelerate again, with Jordan Clark taking a positive approach and Will Jacks despatching Marchant de Lange to the boundary three times in one over.

Jacks has advanced to 74 not out, with Clark on 25 and Surrey have now stretched their advantage over Somerset to 122.

  8. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:55 British Summer Time 13 June 2022

    Balderson c Briggs b Rhodes 19 (Warwickshire 292 v Lancashire 226-6)

Lancashire's sixth wicket falls at Edgbaston.

George Balderson punts Will Rhodes to extra cover where Danny Briggs holds on.

The visitors trail by 66 with four wickets in hand. Nothing in it.

  9. Division Two latestpublished at 16:51 British Summer Time 13 June 2022

    Ben DuckettImage source, Rex Features

Nottinghamshire's Ben Duckett has just gone to a fabulous century off just 112 deliveries. Notts are 235-2 in a high-scoring game at Leicestershire.

After running through Derbyshire's lower order to bowl them out for 229, Middlesex are 44-1 in their second innings, leading by 66.

Worcestershire debutant Taylor Cornall was out without scoring against Durham after they racked up 642-7 declared. The Pears have recovered to 54-1.

Colin Ingram has brought up his century for Glamorgan. They're 192-1 replying to Sussex's 376 all out, with Eddie Byrom also going nicely on 72.

    Kent 157-1 v Gloucs 438

The onus is probably on Gloucestershire, who are bottom of the table, to try and force the pace at Canterbury.

In fairness to the visitors' stand-in captain Ryan Higgins, he's rotated the bowling and varied his fields as well - but so far nothing has unlocked this Kent partnership.

Daniel Bell-Drummond has been relatively subdued since tea, adding just a single to reach 87, while Ben Compton is 55 not out.

  11. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:36 British Summer Time 13 June 2022

    Gubbins c Duke b Patterson (Hants 111-4 v Yorkshire 428)

Hampshire's set batter goes straight after tea.

Nick Gubbins edges Steven Patterson behind and departs for 58.

Yorkshire are well and truly in command now.

  12. 50 runs

for Will Jackspublished at 16:34 British Summer Time 13 June 2022

    Somerset 180 v Surrey 258-5

That's a half-century for Will Jacks - his 11th in first-class cricket - as he steers Peter Siddle away for two on the leg side.

If Jacks can convert that 50 into a ton, Surrey could yet build a decisive lead here.

  13. Postpublished at 16:33 British Summer Time 13 June 2022

    Hants 111-3 v Yorkshire 428

They're back out for the final session on day two in Southampton.

You feel Hampshire can't really afford to lose more than two wickets in the session or they'll be in all sorts of bother.

  14. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:24 British Summer Time 13 June 2022

    Jones c Rhodes b Brookes 28 (Warwickshire 292 v Lancs 197-5)

Henry Brookes strikes third ball after tea!

Rob Jones tries to pull a short one but gets a top edge and it goes straight in the air to Will Rhodes at mid-on.

The game shifts back towards the Bears.

  15. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:21 British Summer Time 13 June 2022

    Steel lbw b Siddle 22 (Somerset 180 v Surrey 247-5)

Somerset strike in just the second over after tea - and it's Cameron Steel who goes, trying to heave Peter Siddle away on the leg side and missing as the ball thudded into his pads.

No runs added in this session so far and still no sign of Hashim Amla returning to resume his innings from yesterday, so Jordan Clark is next man in for Surrey.

  16. 50 runs

for Ben Comptonpublished at 16:15 British Summer Time 13 June 2022

    Kent 151-1 v Gloucestershire 438

Ben Compton's golden summer continues - the Kent opener has notched up another half-century, his fifth of the season to go with four hundreds, just before the tea interval.

Compton and Daniel Bell-Drummond, who is unbeaten on 86, batted right through the afternoon session and looked comfortable against the Gloucestershire attack as they advanced to 151-1, still 287 behind.

  17. Tea at The Ageas Bowlpublished at 16:10 British Summer Time 13 June 2022

    Hants 110-3 v Yorkshire 428

Nick Gubbins walks off with 58 precious runs under his belt.

But his side still have a lot to do to get themselves back into this game. They're still trailing by 318 runs.

  18. 'Somerset up against it'published at 16:09 British Summer Time 13 June 2022

    Somerset 180 v Surrey 247-4

    Anthony Gibson
    ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Somerset

Somerset are still very much up against it, despite removing Rory Burns - playing down the wrong line against the very first ball of a Roelof van der Merwe spell - for 113.

Will Jacks has picked up where his captain left off, and the new ball has so far offered little threat on a pitch offering much less to the seamers than it did yesterday.

With Cameron Steel also looking good, it promises to be a wearisome final session for Somerset's bowlers and fielders in the glorious Taunton sunshine.

  19. 'Afternoon belonged to hosts'published at 16:05 British Summer Time 13 June 2022

    Glamorgan 159-1 v Sussex 376

    Adrian Harms
    ´óÏó´«Ã½ Sussex

Much as this morning belonged to Sussex so this afternoon has firmly belonged to the hosts

Glamorgan has taken the attack to Sussex with Colin Ingram in particular with an array of wonderful shots all around the wicket.

This game is very much alive and Glamorgan could be within a hundred of Sussex at the close at their current rate of scoring

  20. 'Fascinating day's cricket'published at 16:03 British Summer Time 13 June 2022

    Warwickshire 292 v Lancashire 197-4

    Scott Read
    ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio Lancashire

Lancashire added 125 runs in the afternoon losing two wickets along the way with Steven Croft the focal point of the innings.

He's unbeaten on 65 and now enjoying a second successive 50 partnership, first adding 69 with Dane Vilas and now and unbeaten 56 with Rob Jones (28*).

It's been a fascinating day's cricket, Warwickshire very much in the game and seem to keep chipping away. Lancashire are 95 runs behind with six wickets remaining and it's still hard to call which team will end with a first-innings lead.
