After this end I think we will start seeing some stones in play.

This match is really closely fought so far. Neither team giving anything up as they both get one with the hammer.

It's such a stacked field that losing your opener immediately puts a bit of pressure on.

Great Britain do level it up in the third end but it's a mistake from skip Eve Muirhead. She really wants to take out the Swiss stone and take her own stone out of the scoring zone too to blank the end and keep the last-stone advantage. But she lands her stone right on the nose of the Swiss one and stays in the circle to claim a one.

So it's 1-1 and the 'hammer' switches back to the Swiss.

So how does the women's halfpipe final work? Each rider will have three runs, with their best score recorded.

In yesterday's qualification, Chloe Kim topped the standings with a best score of 87.75, despite a fall on her second run.

Watch out too for Japan's Mitsuki Ono and China's Cai Xuetong - they were the only two riders to also score above 80 yesterday.

I spoke to 1980 Olympic champion and ����ý commentator Robin Cousins about Yuzuru Hanyu's bid to land the quad axel.

He wasn't sure it was a good idea...

“It’s got to be fully rotated, he’s never done one fully rotated that anyone has seen,” he said.

“Right now if I was in the position he is in right now I wouldn’t even be considering it because I would do what I can do to the best that I can to get the score. I’d know how to get my points because I’ve had them in the past 8-10 years.

“But he’s an entity unto himself.”

“I think he’s just been trying it to deflect from the fact the other quads aren’t there anymore. I think the quad axel is a deflection from the fact that people go ‘actually he’s not doing what he did four or five years ago for whatever reason’.”

We're trading stones in the third end, with Switzerland holding a 1-0 lead after two ends, but Great Britain will be going last in this end so will be looking to wipe that out pretty quickly.

You’re going to lose matches, you just have to accept that.

You can afford to lose three, but no more than that.

We haven’t seen in any of the ends so far a guard being put up by the team playing first. Of course, anything that comes into the house can be removed.

If it’s out front in the free-guard zone, it’s five stones before you can move them.

Chloe Kim hasn't lost a halfpipe contest since 2019, meaning she is the outstanding favourite to win today.

I read an interesting piece on the American the other day, in which she said that after winning gold four years ago in Pyeongchang, she actually threw her medal in the bin as she struggled to deal with the fame and pressures that accompanied it.

Thankfully, she later retrieved it from the bin, and yesterday said she is "honestly in such a good place right now".

American defending snowboard halfpipe champion Chloe Kim is the favourtite to win gold and watch her 'ridiculously technical' first run to see her qualify in first place for the final.

The curling has moved on to ����ý Red Button, with the women's snowboard halfpipe now the focus on ����ý One.

The skeleton is getting under way with the men's competition and Matt Weston and Marcus Wyatt are representing Great Britain.

Wyatt came away with a silver medal at the test event here in October.

Skeleton has been one of Great Britain's most successful Winter Olympic sports. In fact, every time it has been included in the Games, Britain have won a medal - including golds at the last three.

This track is known as the snow dragon and is 1,975m long, with 16 corners and a 360 degree turn. Who can tame it?

Having a leader is so important.

You’re not going to get four players playing 100% all of the time so it’s how you best manage the players and the team.

Great Britain with two stones in the house, but there's plenty of space for Switzerland's Alina Paetz to take advantage, and she does, to give the Swiss a 1-0 lead after two ends.

Still a long, long way to go in this one though.

We'll soon be under way at the Capital Indoor Stadium for one of the most eagerly anticipated events of these Games.

American three-time world champion Nathan Chen leads the men's figure skating after Tuesday's short programme, while two-time defending champion Yuzuru Hanyu sits in eighth after missing a jump when he hit a 'hole' in the ice.

But the Japanese skater has a new trick up his sleeve as he tries to catch up his rival - he will be attempting to become the first person to land a quadruple axel in competition.

A quad axel is four and a half rotations of the body, with the skater taking off forwards and landing backwards.

Jen [Dodds] must feel she has played an awful lot of stones already, and of course she has in the mixed doubles.

It was such disappointment for them in the Norway match – they missed the chance to get into the gold and silver match and they never really picked themselves up for the bronze medal match against Sweden.

Or, what's known as a 'blank end'. Mixed doubles is set up so this virtually never happens, but it's a fairly common occurrence in the team game.
