Breast cancer will account for over ten percent of all new cancer cases globally this year, warns a group of experts from the Harvard School of Public Health.
What's more, over half of those new cases are expected to occur in the developing world - in countries which lack the resources to diagnose the disease at an early stage and to treat it effectively.
This makes it all the more important for women to check their breasts regularly for early signs of cancer.
