Effective planning
Planning and organising are important skills. Effective planning means being able to use time, energy and resources to help you achieve your goals.
Benjamin Franklin, one of the Founding Fathers of the US, believed that the better the planning, the less likelihood of failure to achieve the intended outcome.

Setting aims and objectives are essential in the planning and organising process.

Objectives
Objectives are the separate or individual stages that must be achieved to reach these goals. Objectives are precise as they need to be practical, do-able and achievable. There is usually more than one objective.
Aims and objectives are usually written as an infinitive verbThe most basic version of a verb that will appear in a dictionary. 鈥 this means they begin with 鈥榯o鈥, eg:
