Initiating – authorising the plan
The first stage will involve creating a project specificationA comprehensive description of the objectives of a project. or plan of action in order to:
- describe the purpose and aims of the project
- state the parameterA limit or boundary related to a project or activity., such as timescales and the budget
- state the people involved
- state the way the team will work together (if relevant) by deciding on issues such as how often meetings will take place
- decide how to review the project’s success
- check progress
When deciding on a volunteering placement, this will involve looking at the assignment brief and discussing plans with your teammates and/or your teacher or tutor.
