Reflection
Reflection means thinking about an event, process or experience and considering the following:
- what went well
- what did not go as well
- what could be improved
The development plan can be used as a starting point for reflection. You can look at the development objectives and think about how well you have met them.
Reflection will involve you evaluating your own personal role or contribution when planning and carrying out tasks. It will also allow you to assess your development, and help you understand how to apply your personal skills and your ability to work in a team.
There are lots of different techniques to help contribute to the reflection process. These include using techniques such as:
- self-evaluation
- peer evaluation
