Follow up by getting students to look at . Get them to find out a) the payments that will be needed to the franchise owner and b) any extra items the new franchisee is likely to need to pay for. Investigate a franchise that operates in the local area and compare it with a similar independent business. Look at franchising from the point of view of the franchise holder and find out if and how they ensure that franchisees operate in line with overall business objectives.
