Next week's themes...
I'll be rounding off this week by revealing all your secrets and lies to the nation. All your calls for tonight's theme will be treated in the strictist confidence. After so many of your chose to share your first crushes last night then I have no doubt we're going to get some interesting emails tonight!
Looking forward to next week here are the themes we've got lined up. Email with your suggestions or why not leave a message on the blog....
Monday - On tonight's show you might hear ABC or SOS as intials is the theme. Bands and songs both count so get your suggestions in PDQ....
Tuesday - Iain Lyall suggests 'Pet Sounds' for the theme. We're not talking about the Beach Boys albums but songs about Pets. Love Me Love My Dog, Run Rabbit Run or maybe something by the rock band Budgie?
Wednesday - What's the one album you would grab if your house was on fire? It's got to be your all time essential album - the one you couldn't live without. Email getiton@bbc.co.uk and let us know...
Thursday - Tennessee waltz, Twist and Shout or Everybody salsa. Dance styles in song is the theme for tonight's Get It On...

Roxy Music '2HB' a pun on a pencil grade and means To Humphry Bogart. The song is based on the movie 'Casablanca' and has the chorus line 'here's looking at you kid'
Ferry re-recorded this for a B-side and it ended up on the 'Let's Stick Together' album. I prefer this version.
Madness did a pastiche tribute to Bryan Ferry with a song called '4BF'

Thanks GIO team - whoever thought up tonight's theme has sentenced me to sleepless nights worrying about whether or not I've taken the plugs out downstairs, left the washing machine on, will the new boiler blow up, will one of the cats spontaniously combust?
Now I'm even more bad-tempered than usual and have eye-bags down to my chin just with the thought of a fire since my records are at the back of the blasted cupboard under the stairs...and I don't even have a turntable to play them on!!!
Oh! what's that?...don't take it too literally - CDs would be fine? They're much easier to lay hands on. That's allright then. Phew!
After a bit of thought (well, I had time didn't I...lying awake in my bed, waiting for the smoke alarm) I'll plump, not for anything by, probably my most favourite artiste, Ian Dury, or for the happy-making ska records, not for anything sentimental from my Dad's collection of deleted bargain-bin LPs, not my well-worn punk collection or the LP of Girl Guide songs I have somehow managed not to throw out, or something classical (Schubert perhaps) but 'SONGS TO REMEMBER' by SCRITTI POLITTI. It's worth it for the song 'Faithless' but I like every track on the album anyway...I used to have it in vinyl but a friend borrowed it and liked it so much he took it to Australia with him when he emigrated so I've bought it in CD form too. I would like to hear either 'Faithless' or 'Asylums In Jerusalem'

To this perhaps:
Did he wonder why nobody came running to the van?
We used to tell The Daughter that, if the Ice Cream Man played the jingle, that meant he'd run out of Ice Cream........no we didn't really...well, maybe just the once :0)
